La Dessalinienne
La Dessalinienne (French pronunciation: [la dɛs.salinjɛn], Haitian Creole: La Desalinyèn; "The Dessalines Song") is the national anthem of Haiti, honoring Jean-Jacques Dessalines. The lyrics (words of the song) were written by Justin Lhérisson and its music composed by Nicolas Geffrard; it was adopted in 1904.[1][2]
