School shooting in Saskatchewan

The La Loche shootings was a shooting in the village of La Loche, Saskatchewan, Canada. Four people were killed in the shooting. Seven people were injured. The shooting happened on January 22, 2016. Justin Trudeau talked to relatives involved in the shooting and visited the school where the shooting happened.

La Loche Community School

On May 8, 2018, Rendon Fontaine was sentenced to life in prison, with the possibility of parole after 10 years. He was 17 years old when the shooting happened. He was a student at the school.
