Las Villas

Las Villas is a department in the Central region of the Cuban archipelago. It has a large rural area with a population of around 1 million in 28,000 square kilometers. It was founded in 1902, along with the birth of the Republic, as one of the biggest subdivisions of the country. Baseball and soccer are very much loved by people there.
