Laura Cardoso

Laurinda de Jesus Cardoso Baleroni (better known as Laura Cardoso, b. 13 September 1927[1] in São Paulo) is a Brazilian actress.

Cardoso was a pioneer of television in Brazil. She has acted in teleteatros, series and telenovelas since the 1950s on the defunct TV Tupi and later in syndication. She starred in more than 50 telenovelas. She is the widow of actor, writer, director and television producer Fernando Baleroni. They had two daughters, Fátima and Fernanda.
