Lila Tretikov
Russian–American engineer, manager and former executive director of the Wikimedia Foundation
Lila Tretikov (Russian: Лайла Третиков; born January 25, 1978) was the executive director of the Wikimedia Foundation from 2014 to 2016.[1] She is a specialist in software engineering.

Career
changeTretikov was born in the former Soviet Union in 1978. She emigrated to America in 1994. She studied art and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley.[2]
In May 2014, Tretikov was selected as the future executive director of Wikimedia Foundation, replacing Sue Gardner and took up the post on June 1, 2014.
