Linda Cristal

Argentine-American actress (1931-2020)

Linda Cristal (Spanish: [kɾisˈtal]; born Marta Victoria Moya Peggo Burges,[1] February 23, 1934 – June 27, 2020)[2] was an Argentine-American actress. She appeared in many Western movies during the 1950s. She won a Golden Globe Award for her role in the 1958 comedy movie The Perfect Furlough.

From 1967 to 1971, Cristal starred as Victoria Cannon in the NBC series The High Chaparral.[3] For her role she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama in 1970, and received two Emmy Award nominations.

Cristal was born in Buenos Aires. She died at her home in Beverly Hills, California on June 27, 2020 at the age of 89.[4]
