Lou Barletta

American politician (born 1956)

Louis James Barletta (born January 28, 1956) is an American politician. In 2011, he became the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 11th congressional district. He left the office on January 3, 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party. He served as Mayor of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, from 1999 to 2010.

In August 2017, Barletta announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate.[1] He lost the general election to incumbent Bob Casey, Jr..

In May 2021, he announced his candidacy for Governor of Pennsylvania in the upcoming 2022 election.[2]
