Lubomír Štrougal

Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia; (1924–2023)

Lubomír Štrougal (October 19, 1924 – February 6, 2023) was a Czech politician. He was a communist. He served as Prime minister of Czechoslovakia from 28 January 1970 to 12 October 1988. He was born in Veselí nad Lužnicí, Czechoslovakia.

In July 2022, it was revealed that Štrougal had "slight" dementia.[1] He died on February 6, 2023 at the age of 98.[2]
