Luiza Erundina
Luiza Erundina de Sousa (Portuguese pronunciation: [luˈizɐ ɛrũˈdjinɐ dʒi ˈsowzɐ]; November 30, 1934) is a Brazilian politician.

In 1997 she changed to the PSB party. When her party supported the impeachment process against president Dilma Rousseff, Erundina switched to party PSOL in March 2016.[1]
Erundina was on the São Paulo city council from 1983–1987. From 1987–1988 she was a state deputy for the state of São Paulo. She was São Paulo's first female mayor, serving from 1989 to 1992. In 1993, she became Brazil's Minister for the Federal Administration. Since 1999, Luiza Erundina has served as a Congresswoman in Brazil's Federal Congress. She was re-elected six times in a row, and now is disputing her seventh election as a Federal Deputy. She's considered a champion on the fight for women's rights, and a role model for the socialist youth.
