Maria Itkina
Soviet sprinter (1932–2020)
Maria (also "Mariya" and "Marina") Leontievna Itkina (Belarusian: Марыя Лявонцеўна Іткіна; Russian: Мария Леонтьевна Иткина; 3 May 1932 – 1 December 2020) was a Soviet runner.[2] She set multiple world records in many sprint events. She competed at the 1956 and 1960 and 1964 Olympics and finished four times in fourth place. Itkina held 17 Soviet sprint titles.[3]
