Marissa Mayer

American business executive and engineer, former CEO of Yahoo!

Marissa Mayer was the president and CEO of Yahoo! until 2017.[1] She started as the head of the company in 2012.[2]

Mayer went to college at Stanford University. She studied computer science there. After college, she went to Google in 1999 as the first female engineer when she was 24 years old. She worked at Google until 2012.

When she went to Yahoo!, the company was losing money. She helped them improve. During her first year, their stock prices increased by 75%.
