Marshall Perron
Australian politician; Chief Minister of the Northern Territory
Marshall Bruce Perron (born 5 February 1942) is an Australian politician. He is a member of the Country Liberal Party. He was Chief Minister of the Northern Territory from 1988 to 1995. also served as a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1974 to 1995. He represented Stuart Park (1974–1983) and Fannie Bay (1983–1995).
Perron was born in Perth, Western Australia. His family were from Darwin but had been evacuated to Perth due to the threat of Japanese attack during World War II. Perron was born two weeks before the bombing of Darwin.[1]
