Irish businessman, CEO of Ryanair Group

Michael O'Leary (born 20 March 1961) is an Irish businessman. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ryanair Group. He has a net worth of around 800 million Euros, making him one of Ireland's richest businessmen.[1]

Controversies change

In a June 2022 the Hungarian government introduced a new tax which required airlines to pay between €10 and €25 per departing passenger. In an interview O'Leary called the tax "beyond stupid" as well as calling Hungarian economic development minister Marton Nagy an "idiot".[2]
