Mickey Tettleton

American baseball player

Mickey Lee Tettleton (born September 16, 1960) is a former Major League Baseball catcher for the Oakland Athletics (1984–1987), Baltimore Orioles (1988–1990), Detroit Tigers (1991–1994) and Texas Rangers (1995–1997). He made two All–Star teams and won three Silver Slugger Awards. He was named after Mickey Mantle, who was also from Oklahoma.[1]
