The Minotaur (Greek: Μινώταυρος) is a creature in Greek mythology. He is shown as half-bull, half-man, normally with the head of a bull and body of a man. He lived at the center of the Cretan Labyrinth (maze). The Labyrinth was built for King Minos by Daedalus. The Minotaur was killed by Theseus. The term Minotaur now refers to a race of bull-headed creatures created for the modern fantasy fiction genre.
