Middle Franconia

Middle Franconia (German: Mittelfranken, pronounced [ˈmɪtl̩ˌfʁaŋkn̩] (audio speaker iconlisten); Main-Franconian: Middlfrangng) is a government region in the Free State of Bavaria. The seat of government is Ansbach. In the area of this region are the cities Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen.
