Muhammad Ridha al-Sistani

Iraqi-Iranian Shia scholar

Muhammad Ridha al-Sistani (Arabicː محمد رضا الحسيني السيستاني) is. a Iraqi Shiite cleric born in the year 1962 and the son of the head of Iraqs Hawza, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.[1] Al-Sistani runs the office of his father and controls work with finances.[2][3] It is popularly held that he will succeed his father as the preeminent authority of Shias i.e. the Marja.
