Nanci Griffith
American singer-songwriter (1953-2021)
Nanci Caroline Griffith (July 6, 1953 – August 13, 2021) was an American country folk singer-songwriter and guitarist.[1] Griffith appeared many times on the PBS music program Austin City Limits. Griffith was born in Seguin, Texas. Her career lasted from 1977 until 2013. Griffith won a Grammy Award in 1994.
Griffith died on August 13, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 68.[2][3][4]
