Distribution
changeThis species is endemic to the state of Bolívar in Venezuela.[1] It is most commonly found near Gran Sabana.[2]
Systematics and taxonomy
changeThis species was described under the protonym Broteochactas garciai by González-Sponga in 1978. It was moved to the genus Neochactas by Soleglad and Fet in 2003.[3]
Etymology
changeThis species is named in honor of Edgard García.[2]
