Neubrandenburg (Low German: Niegenbramborg or shortened: Bramborg) (New Brandenburg, IPA: [nɔʏˈbʁandənbʊʁk]) is a city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is in the southeastern part of the state, at the shore of a lake called the Tollensesee.

Till September 4, 2011 Neubrandenburg was a urban district.
Since March 2015 Silvio Witt is the mayor of Neubrandenburg. He is the succesor of Paul Krüger (CDU).
