Nguyễn Xuân Phúc

Nguyễn Xuân Phúc (born 20 July 1954) is a Vietnamese politician. He was the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from 2016 until 2021. In 2021, he became the 10th President of Vietnam. He was elected Prime Minister to the post by the National Assembly and nominated on April 8, 2016 by his predecessor Nguyễn Tấn Dũng who retired from office.
