Nicolae Timofti
4th President of Moldova (r. 2012–2016)
Nicolae Timofti (Romanian pronunciation: [nikoˈla.e tiˈmofti]; born 22 December 1948) is a Moldovan jurist and politician. He was President of Moldova from 23 March 2012 until 23 December 2016. He was head of Moldova's Supreme Magistrate Council and was elected President by parliament on 16 March 2012.[1][2]
