Nika Rurua

Georgian politician (1968–2018)

Nikoloz Rurua (Georgian: ნიკოლოზ [ნიკა] რურუა, 17 March 1968 – 4 December 2018) was a Georgian politician. He was a member of the Cabinet of Georgia as Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia from 10 December 2008 until 25 October 2012 during the Mikheil Saakashvili presidency.[1] He was born in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Rurua died of a heart attack at his Tbilisi apartment on 4 December 2018, aged 50.[2]
