Nurmuhammad Tohti

Nurmuhemmet Tohti[1] (also Nurmemet Tohti,[1] Nurmamat Tohti[2]) (December 1949 – 31 May 2019) was a Uyghur writer.

He studied in Xinjiang University, from 1973 to 1977. He taught at Khoten Normal College.[3]

He died in a Chinese 're-education' camp.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
