Oludotun Akinbobola

Oludotun Olaniran Akinbobola (born in 1990) is a Nigerian Technology and Business Professional and Entrepreneur [1]. He hails from Idanre, Ondo State Nigeria .

Training

Oludotun received his primary education at Willydorc Children's School Idanre, Ondo State between 1993 and 2001. Between 2001 and 2007, he attended the Federal Government College Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State for his secondary education. In 2008, he was admitted to study Pure and Applied Chemistry at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso. He didn't graduate from the institution as he left the University due to the lingering ASUU strike. He thereafter attended Achievers University Owo Ondo State Nigeria in 2012 where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, a Second Class Honours (Upper Division). In 2019, he went to the Freiberg University of Mining and Technology, Germany where he earned his master's degree in Sustainable Mining and Remediation Management in 2023. Oludotun has also attended executive education programs at MIT Sloan School of Management and the Cambridge Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge.

Professional Career

After his University education in 2016, Oludotun proceeded to his mandatory National Youth Service Corps Scheme (NYSC) in Lagos, Nigeria, and worked as a procurement and project officer at Seg.Mahsen and Company Nigeria Limited, an engineering, procurement and construction company. He has also worked as a Project Manager, and Scrum Master at multinational companies such as Allianz, Publicis Groupe amongst others. He is a Scrum Master at MINT Software Systems.

Oludotun was a co-founder of Teamplana (now defunct) [2], an ERP software company that provided a platform to manage clients and teams.

He also founded Atlantic Review [3], a digital business magazine that helps business leaders and professionals to improve in their management thinking and approach. Oludotun was an expert reviewer of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on the first order draft in the working group II of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report that was released in 2022 [4].
