It was built from 2006 to 2011 by East Lancashire Coachbuilders and then Darwen Group and then Optare.
It was built on Scania N230UD chassis,[1] Scania N270UD chassis and Volvo B9TL chassis, (2[2] or 3[3][4] axle)
History
changeBought by Darwen
changeEast Lancs went into Administration in August 2007 and was bought by the Darwen Group. The body was renamed to Darwen Visionaire.
Reverse takeover by Optare
changeIn June 2008 Darwen Group was bought by Optare, the Visionaire was renamed Optare Visionaire
