The song was able to make it to #9 on the Hot Rap Songs, #39 on the Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales, #61 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and #83 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.[1][2][3][4] The song was certified Gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI).[5]
In the song, Xzibit raps about staying true to yourself and not selling out for money and fame.
A music video for the song was released. In the video, Xzibit raps on a beach in front of an orchestra. Three men drive around in a car, put ski masks over their heads and then rob a Korean corner store. They drive around the corner and it's revealed that it was a movie shoot.
The song appears on the soundtrack to the 2001 video game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.[6]
