Papeete

capital of French Polynesia

Papeete is the capital city of French Polynesia, an overseas collectivity of the French Republic. The commune is located on the north-west of the island of Tahiti in the Pacific Ocean. As of 2017, the population of Papeete was 26,926.[3]
