Pastelitos

Cuban dessert dish

Pastelitos (also referred to as Cuban pastries) is a baked dish that has a flaky texture and is usually filled with a sweet or savory filling.[1]

The dish is commonly filled with cream cheese, guava, coconut, cheese, and pineapple. Fruit-based fillings are usually made using the flesh of the fruit with added sugar. Savory fillings are usually based off of beef or other types of meat like chicken or ham.
