Penang Bridge

Penang Bridge is a major bridge in Malaysia that connects Penang Island to the mainland. It was opened in 1985 and is one of the longest bridges in Southeast Asia.[1] The bridge was built during the leadership of Malaysia's Prime Minister, Mahathir Mohamad, who played a key role in its development.[2] The bridge helps improve transportation and supports economic growth in the region.
