The People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, Dutch: Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (shortened VVD), is a Dutch political party.
The People's Party for Freedom and Democracy is a conservative liberal party. They are the largest party in the country.
It was established in 1948 from a merger of the Freedom Party (PvdV) and the Oud Committee.
Number of seats in the 2023 elections: 24 (-10).
Current political leader is Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, who was elected in 2023.
