Perseids
prolific meteor shower associated with the comet Swift-Tuttle
The Perseids are prolific meteor showers associated with the comet Swift–Tuttle. The point they appear to come from (called the radiant) is in the constellation Perseus.
They come into the sky regularly mid-July to late August. Date of peak shower is August 24th.
