Polysporangiophyte

Polysporangiophytes, also called polysporangiates or formally Polysporangiophyta, are a type of plant. The sporophyte of these plants have branching stems (axes).These stems have sporangia. The name means many sporangia plant. The clade includes all land plants (embryophytes) except for the bryophytes (liverworts, mosses and hornworts). The sporophytes f those plants are normally unbranched.
