She is the first granddaughter of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II of Jordan.[1] As the daughter of the heir to the throne, Iman is part of the Hashemite royal family, the dynasty that rules the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.[2] The name "Iman" is of Arabic origin and means "faith". This name is common in Arabic and Islamic culture, reflecting spiritual and religious values.
