Psagot (Hebrew: פסגות, Arabic بسجوت ) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. It is located north of Jerusalem on a long hill and adjacent to the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, where the expansion of the city of Al-Bireh from the eastern side was stopped. It was established in 1981 and is administered by the Benjamin Regional Council. In 2008 the settler population was 1,623,[1] The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law.[2]
