Afghan cricketer

Rashid Khan Arman (Pashto: راشد خان ارمان; born 20 September 1998) is an Afghan international cricketer and captain of the Afghanistan national team in T20I format.[1] He bowls right-arm leg spin and bats as a right-handed batsman. Rashid is considered as one of the greatest 20 bowlers ever. As of October 2023, Rashid is ranked No. 1 in T20I and No. 6 in ODI cricket.[2]

He considers Shahid Afridi as his bowling idol.[3] He was awarded ICC Associate Cricketer of the Year in 2017.[4] In 2018, at the age of 19, he became the youngest cricketer to top the ICC ODI bowling rankings.[5] Later, in december 2020, Khan was named the ICC Men's T20I Player of the Decade.[6]
