Rashid Khan (musician)

Rashid Khan (1 July 1968 – 9 January 2024) was an Indian classical musician. His songs were about Hindustani tradition. He was called the "future of Indian vocal music".[1][2] He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2006. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2022.[3]

Khan died on 9 January 2024 at a hospital in Kolkata, India from prostate cancer, aged 55.[4][5]
