Reese Schonfeld
American journalist (1931–2020)
Maurice Wolfe "Reese" Schonfeld (November 5, 1931 – July 28, 2020) was an American television journalist and executive. He was a co-founder of CNN in the early 1980s. He was president to the news network from 1980 to 1982. He went on to create the Food Network in the 1990s. Schonfeld was born in Newark, New Jersey.
Schonfeld died on July 28, 2020, at his home in Manhattan from Alzheimer's disease-related problems, aged 88.[1][2]
