eminent Sufi order (tariqa) within Sunni Islam founded by Ahmed ar-Rifaʽi
The Rifai Sufi order or Tariqah was established by Hazrat Sheikh Ahmed Ar-Rifai in Iraq. Later on, it spread to other parts of the world. It has a big presence in Turkey and Eastern Europe today.[1]
