Rolf Hochhuth

Rolf Hochhuth (1 April 1931 – 13 May 2020) was a German author and playwright. He was best known for his 1963 drama The Deputy. His works were controversial as they talked about unpopular opinions of the Holocaust. He also defended Holocaust denier David Irving. Hochhuth was born in Eschwege, Germany.

Hochhuth died on 13 May 2020 in Berlin, aged 89.[1]
