Ron Bass (wrestler)

American professional wrestler

Ronald Heard (December 21, 1948 – March 7, 2017) was a former American professional wrestler. He was best known under the name "The Outlaw" Ron Bass.[2] His gimmick was a Texan cowboy who entered World Wrestling Federation (WWF) rings to the sound of a bullwhip.[3]

In March 2017, Bass was hospitalized in Tampa, Florida due to a burst appendix and underwent surgery.[1] He died on March 7, 2017 from complications of appendicitis-related surgery at the age of 68.[1]
