Rosa Maria Sardà
Spanish actress (1941–2020)
Rosa Maria Sardà i Tàmaro (30 July 1941 – 11 June 2020) was a Spanish actress, political activist and comedian.[1] She was born in Barcelona. Her best known roles were as Asun in Alegre ma non troppo (1994), Maruja in Carol's Journey (2002), Sofia in My Mother Likes Women (2002) and as Roser in Ocho apellidos catalanes (2015). She won two Goya Awards in 1994 and 2002.

In 2014, Sardà was diagnosed with lymphoma.[2] She died from the disease on 11 June 2020 in Barcelona, aged 78.[3]
