Rosario Green
Mexican politician (1941-2017)
María del Rosario Green Macías (31 March 1941[1] – 25 November 2017)[2] was a Mexican economist, diplomat and politician. She was born in Mexico City. Green served as Secretary of Foreign Affairs in the Ernesto Zedillo cabinet from 1998 through 2000. She was also the Secretary General of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) from 2005 to 2006.
In her later years, Green served as Senator for the 2006–2012 period. During the Vicente Fox administration, she served as Ambassador to Argentina.
Green died on 25 November 2017 in Mexico City at the age of 76.[3]
