Samson Baidoo (born 31 March 2004 in Graz) is an Austrian professional footballer. He plays as a defender for Austrian Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg and the Austria national team.

Career
changeHe played in the youth teams of Post SV Graz and Grazer AK. 2018 he came to the Red Bull Academy. 2021 he went on to FC Liefering.[1]He made his debut for Liefering in the 2nd league in July 2021 when he came on as a substitute for Dijon Kameri in the 85th minute on the first matchday of that season against Kapfenberger SV.
In April 2022 he signed a professional contract in Salzburg that runs until June 2027.[2] For the 2022/23 season he also moved into the Bundesliga squad. He debuted for Salzburg on 14 May 2023 in the away match versus LASK. [3]
National team
changeHe played for Austria U15, U16, U17 and U18.[4]In November 2022 he made his debut for the U-21 team against Turkey. In October 2023 he was nominated for the senior national team for the first time.[5] He made his debut in the same month when he came on as a substitute for Kevin Danso in the 66th minute of the European Championship qualifier against Belgium.
