Sara Wedlund

Swedish female long distance and cross-country runner

Sara Christina Wedlund (27 December 1975 in Vällingby, Sweden – 11 June 2021) was a Swedish long distance and cross-country runner. She scored successes in the mid 1990's as one of most successful Swedish participaters at the time. She participated at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden and also participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She was awarded the Victoria Scholarship in 1996.[1]

Wedlund died on 11 June 2021, at the age of 45.[2]
