Sardinian dialects are spoken is Sardinia, one of the 20 regions in Italy. This is an earlier variant of Latin and is in it's own branch, separate from Eastern and Italo-Western Romance languages. There's around 1.2 million Sardinian speakers in Sardinia. Sardinian comes in four dialects including Campidanese (Campidanian), Gallurese (Gallurian), Logudorese (Logudorian), and Sassarese (Sassarian).
