Screen Gems is an American movie studio founded in 1999. It is owned by Sony Pictures.
History
changeIt was founded in 1929 as an animation studio, and shut down in 1949. It was revived as a television unit of Columbia Pictures in the 1950s. It was a movie studio since 1999, and is now known for making a lot of horror movies or cheap comedy movies.
Logo in 2011
changeBuffy Cuttler decided to create a Screen Gems logo for the upcoming film Friends with Benefits in 2011. He created the logo by having a cloud background with the 1965 Screen Gems logo on it.
