A sex offender (sexual offender, sex abuser, or sexual abuser) is a person who has committed a sex crime. What is seen as a sex crime differs by culture and country. In many cases, there will be a place where it will be logged, so that people convicted may for example not work with children. Crimes which usually cause you to be called a sex offender include sexual assault, bestiality, child sexual abuse, incest and rape.
