Barbadian cricketer (1933-2019)

Seymour MacDonald Nurse (10 November 1933 − 6 May 2019) was a Barbadian cricketer. He is best known for his role as a right-handed batsman. He played 29 Test matches for the West Indies between 1960 and 1969. He played his first Test match against England, and his final against New Zealand. His last Test innings of 258 is the highest score by a cricketer in his final Test innings. He also played for the Barbados national team from 1958 until the early 1970s. He was born in Jack-My-Nanny Gap, Saint Michael.[1]

Nurse died on 6 May 2019 in Bridgetown, at the age of 85.[1]
