Sharda Sinha
Indian singer
Sharda Sinha (1 October 1952 – 5 November 2024) was an Indian folk and classical singer.[2] She was called Bihar Kokila, the cuckoo of Bihar.[3]

In 1991, she was honored with the Padma Shri award.[4] She was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2018.[5][6]
Sinha was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2017. On 5 November 2024, she was hospitalized in New Delhi, India.[7] She died a few hours later at the age of 72.[8]
